Pakistan: 15 Killed in Glue Factory Explosion in Faisalabad

At least 15 people were killed and dozens injured on Friday in an explosion at a glue factory in Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan, reportedly caused by a gas leak, according to local media.اضافة اعلان

Officials told Dawn newspaper that the explosion occurred in the Malikpur area, with the ensuing fire spreading to surrounding buildings. Initial reports confirmed 15 fatalities and numerous injuries.

The blast also damaged seven nearby homes, with roofs of houses adjacent to the factory collapsing due to the force of the explosion.

Authorities have formed a committee to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
