Trump: "We Will Liberate Los Angeles"

Speaking to a group of soldiers at Fort Bragg military base in North Carolina, Trump stated:
“Generations of military heroes didn’t shed their blood on distant shores just to watch our country be destroyed by invasion and lawlessness like that of the Third World.”

He added: “What you’re witnessing in California is a full-scale assault on public peace, order, and national sovereignty, carried out by agitators waving foreign flags.” He continued by declaring that his administration “will liberate Los Angeles.”

Trump's visit to Fort Bragg—which houses around 50,000 active-duty troops—came after his move to deploy 700 Marines and 4,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles, escalating his response to street protests against his immigration policies.

In a related statement, Trump also called on Europe to act “before it’s too late” to counter what he called “uncontrolled immigration,” referencing the ongoing protests in Los Angeles over his immigration agenda.

In his speech at Fort Bragg, Trump said:
“As the world can now see, uncontrolled immigration leads to chaos, disorder, and a breakdown of law. You know what? That’s exactly what’s happening in Europe too. Many European countries are facing the same thing. They’d better do something about it—before it’s too late.”
