He added that Ukraine has deployed more than 200 experts to the Middle East, who have successfully intercepted long-range Iranian Shahed drones.

Zelenskyy also noted that he visited several Middle Eastern countries last month to showcase Ukraine’s technology and experience in countering Iranian drone attacks.

Security cooperation agreements have already been signed with Saudi Arabia and Qatar, while an agreement with the United Arab Emirates has also been announced.

In remarks published by his office, Zelenskyy said, “We used our interception capabilities to bring down Iranian Shahed drones. We have demonstrated that achieving these results requires systematic solutions, particularly in the field of electronic warfare.”

He continued, “We have reached 10-year agreements with three countries. Security talks are currently underway with Oman, and we are also in discussions with Kuwait and Bahrain.”

Zelenskyy added that agreements related to oil and diesel supplies to Ukraine were part of the broader cooperation deals under discussion.
