The Jerusalem Post reported on Thursday evening that Blinken was set to make a brief visit to Israel as part of his tour of the Middle East. However, he opted to cancel the visit, leading to concerns about the timing and potential implications.

A senior Israeli political official Remarked, "It is impossible to ignore the sensitive timing of Blinken's visit cancellation," and added, "It may just be a technical cancellation; Washington is trying to push the Iranian file off the agenda until after the elections. The US administration has realized that the nuclear issue cannot be stopped without military action in Iran."

Iran's escalating nuclear activities draw attention
The Iranian nuclear issue remains a significant concern amidst recent developments.

The International Atomic Energy Agency has reported that Iran has increased the enrichment level of uranium from 25 percent to 60 percent, effectively violating the restrictions imposed on its nuclear activities under the 2015 nuclear agreement.

The US withdrew from this agreement during the administration of former President Donald Trump.

In response to these developments, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a clear message in a video posted on Twitter on Thursday evening. He stated, "I have one clear message for Iran and the international community: Israel will do whatever it takes to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon”.
