Threats Targeting "Vital Centers"
In a televised statement broadcast by Fars News Agency, the Joint Command spokesperson, Ibrahim Zulfiqari, emphasized that strikes would not be limited to the carrier itself but would extend to include:
Logistical Centers: Everything ensuring the continued operation of the carrier.
Service Facilities: Belonging to the carrier strike group stationed in the region.
Context of Total Confrontation
These threats come at the height of a conflict that erupted following the U.S.-Israeli airstrikes on February 28, which resulted in the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Since then, Tehran has adopted a "Broad Response" strategy, raining down barrages of missiles and drones on Washington’s and Tel Aviv’s interests in the region.
