Ministry of Education Issues New School Hours Effective After Ramadan

The Ministry of Education has issued a circular to education directorates outlining official school hours, which will take effect starting from the end of the holy month of Ramadan, on the morning of Tuesday, March 24, 2026.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry’s media spokesperson, Mahmoud Hayasat, stated on Monday that working hours for the Education Directorates will be from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

He added that for single-shift schools, the first period will begin at 8:00 AM, with each class lasting 45 minutes.

As for double-shift schools, the first period of the morning shift will begin at 7:00 AM, with a class duration of 40 minutes, while the first period of the afternoon shift will commence at 12:30 PM.
