Six Palestinians were martyred and several others injured in Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip, while 18 Palestinians were arrested during Israeli military raids in the occupied West Bank. Israeli authorities also compelled three Palestinians to demolish their own homes in Bethlehem, issued a demolition notice for a house in Nablus, and settlers carried out a series of attacks in several governorates.
Six Martyrs in Gaza
In the Gaza Strip, two Palestinians were martyred and several others injured after an Israeli occupation drone targeted a group of Palestinians in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City.
In a separate strike, one Palestinian was martyred and two others were injured when an Israeli drone targeted a group of Palestinians in Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza.
Later, one Palestinian was martyred and others were injured in an Israeli strike on the Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City. Two more Palestinians were martyred after Israeli aircraft struck the roof of a house on Al-Aqsa Street in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of the city.
An Israeli airstrike also destroyed the medical supplies and pharmaceutical warehouse of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, causing extensive damage to the facility and nearby displacement camps, and forcing dozens of displaced families to flee the area.
Arrests and Demolition Orders in the West Bank
In the occupied West Bank, Israeli occupation forces arrested 18 Palestinians during raids across several governorates, including 11 workers in the village of Khashm al-Daraj, south of Hebron, after chasing and physically assaulting them.
In Nablus, Israeli forces arrested four Palestinians from the villages of Awarta, Einabus, and Burqa. They also raided dozens of homes in Asira al-Shamaliya, detaining dozens of residents inside one house that was turned into a temporary field interrogation center.
In Bethlehem, Israeli forces arrested a 16-year-old boy during a raid on the village of Wadi Fukin, as well as a young man at the Container military checkpoint. Additional towns across the governorate were raided without further arrests being reported.
Another 16-year-old was arrested in the town of Tammun in Tubas Governorate after Israeli forces raided his family’s home. Raids were also reported in areas of Qalqilya, Ramallah, and Al-Bireh, although no arrests were recorded there.
Separately, Israeli authorities forced three Palestinian residents of Beit Jala to demolish their own homes to avoid the heavy fines and demolition costs imposed if Israeli authorities carry out the demolitions themselves.
In Nablus, Israeli forces served the family of Farouq Ramadan with a notice ordering them to vacate their three-story home within 72 hours ahead of its planned demolition.
Settler Attacks
Israeli settlers also carried out a series of attacks across the occupied West Bank.
Three Palestinian youths were injured after being beaten and sprayed with pepper spray on the road between Al-Mughayyir and Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah. According to reports, settlers rammed their vehicle with an all-terrain motorcycle, causing material damage.
In another incident, a Palestinian man and his wife sustained injuries and bruises after settlers assaulted them while they were working on their farm in Beitillu, northwest of Ramallah. Both were taken to hospital for treatment.
In Hebron Governorate, settlers set fire to one Palestinian vehicle, damaged another, spray-painted racist slogans on a house, and attempted to burn another home during an attack on the Deir al-Nil area in Surif, northwest of Hebron.
Settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, also threw stones at Palestinian homes and vehicles in the Al-Jallatiya neighborhood, east of Idhna, west of Hebron, while preventing Palestinian Red Crescent ambulances from reaching the area.
In Jenin Governorate, settlers threw stones at Palestinian vehicles on the road leading to the western entrance of Arraba without causing injuries. They also damaged part of the town’s tobacco crop, while settler shepherds obstructed the movement of Palestinians near the town’s western entrance.
