Meeting with HamasEarlier on Sunday, it was reported that Saudi Arabia was hosting a senior delegation from Hamas.

Saudi Arabia has previously severed relations with Hamas.

Recent developments in the region suggest that Hamas is pushing for a rapprochement with Saudi Arabia. The move is seen as an attempt by Hamas to stall Israel's efforts to expand normalization agreements with Arab states.
