A Palestinian was killed and another seriously wounded on Sunday morning as a result of Israeli artillery shelling targeting Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.

According to WAFA, areas of Khan Younis and Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip have been subjected since early Sunday to airstrikes and artillery shelling by Israeli forces, exacerbating residents’ suffering and deepening the humanitarian crisis.
Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, more than 2,000 Palestinians have been killed or injured as a result of over 1,500 violations of the agreement committed by the occupation.
