Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that Israel rejects the 15-point Gaza plan put forward by U.S. President Donald Trump's Peace Council regarding Gaza.

During a cabinet meeting, Netanyahu noted that while there are ideas in the U.S. plan acceptable to Israel, others are not, emphasizing that Israel will not withdraw from the Gaza Strip until Hamas is completely disarmed.
He said: "There will be no Palestinian state in Gaza or the West Bank as long as I am Prime Minister."
On Saturday, a Hamas official confirmed that the movement remains ready to implement the Gaza agreement stipulating its disarmament, demanding that the U.S. administration pressure Israel to compel it to implement its side of the deal.
The official stated that Hamas demands the U.S. administration exert pressure on Israel to abide by and implement the agreement and move to the second phase.
He added that Hamas and Palestinian factions informed mediators and the Peace Council of their readiness and preparedness to begin implementing the agreement and transition to phase two, provided that the Israeli side approves the deal and begins implementing its phase-one obligations.
He stressed the necessity for Israel to execute the first-phase provisions of the ceasefire agreement—foremost among them halting attacks, withdrawing to the Yellow Line, and allowing sufficient amounts of aid to enter.
Furthermore, he added that Hamas requested accelerating the entry of the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza to assume its duties in managing the Strip and initiate relief, recovery, and reconstruction projects.
Last week, Trump welcomed Hamas's agreement to disarm under the plan, calling it a breakthrough, while the Peace Council confirmed that Israel would simultaneously execute a gradual withdrawal from a large portion of the Gaza Strip.
According to the text of the agreement brokered by President Donald Trump's "Peace Council"—who was the first to announce it a week ago—Israel and Hamas must halt their military operations.
The agreement also stipulates a "gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from areas they still control in Gaza" and the "disbanding of armed groups," including Hamas.
