WASHINGTON –  Reports have shown that Washington deliberately withholds detailed information about the types and quantities of weapons it sends to Israel, aiming to prevent their use from being linked to civilian casualties in Gaza, The Intercept reported.اضافة اعلان

William Hartung, a researcher at the Center for International Policy, stated, "The deliberate lack of transparency regarding the weapons supplied daily by the United States to Israel is connected to the current administration's policy to minimize Israel's use of these weapons in committing war crimes and killing civilians in Gaza."

Hartung added, while Israel continues to bombard and blockade an entire region with two million people, resulting in the deaths of thousands of innocent civilians. Independent experts have described these actions as war crimes.

Furthermore, aside from the undisclosed quantities, there are "specific arms provided by the Pentagon to Israel that have not been publicly revealed," according to the Marine General.

Investigation reveals a paradox
The Intercept reported that dozens of military transport planes, including C-17s, have traveled across the Atlantic between the United States and Israel. Most of them have landed at the Nevatim Air Base.

Recently, U.S. President Joe Biden requested $14.3 billion in aid to Israel, in addition to more than $3 billion in military assistance, with plans to send $320 million worth of precision-guided munitions (PGM) to Israel, as reported by various congressional media on Monday.
