TEL AVIV – On Saturday, Foreign Minister Israel Katz announced that Israel will seek to stop UNRWA from operating in Gaza after the war. UNRWA fired several staff members recently, claiming that they were involved in Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.اضافة اعلان

UNRWA will not be a part of the day after,” Katz posted on X, the Times of Israel reported.

The UK, Canada, Australia, Finland and Italy froze the transfer of funds to UNRA due to rising suspicions.

Katz added that he would try to gather support for the move from the US, EU, and other major UNRWA donors.

“We have been warning for years: UNRWA perpetuates the refugee issue, obstructs peace, and serves as a civilian arm of Hamas in Gaza,” Katz continued.
