GAZA – The
spokesperson for the
Ministry of Health in Gaza, Dr. Ashraf al-Qudra, said on
Wednesday that
occupation forces (IOF) were still arresting several hospital
directors and interrogating them under torture.

According to Khaberni,
Qudra stated that the occupation is insisting on ending the health presence in
the
northern Gaza Strip, noting that the northern area of Gaza is now without
health care.
Qudra appealed to
international institutions to
supply medical facilities to hospitals in the
southern Gaza Strip. He also called on international organizations to
provide basic living conditions within the shelter centers.
Israeli bombardment
has led to the closure of 22 hospitals and 52 primary care centers.
He called for the
creation of mechanisms to ensure the exit of thousands of daily injuries for
treatment abroad to save their lives.
Qudra also said the
health situation is deadly in the sector due to the spread of epidemics and the
lack of clean water.
Qudra said that the
occupation tightens restrictions and controls the entry of medical aid,
depriving hospitals of it, and uses aid as a new weapon to kill the wounded.
