GAZA — Hundreds of Palestinian families have begun to flee from areas in northern Gaza to the south of the strip after the Israeli army provided a 24 hour warning. However, Hamas has told people to ignore the warning, calling it “false propaganda.”اضافة اعلان

According to a media correspondent, trucks loaded with Gazans were heading to the south of the Gaza Strip, Al Mamlaka TV reported.

The government media office in Gaza said that warning Gazans to move from the north of the Strip to the south is “false propaganda and psychological warfare.”  The Information Office urged the residents of Gaza to ignore this propaganda and not be led by it.

The Hamas movement said, "The Palestinian people stationed reject the threat of the occupation leaders and their calls on them in Gaza to leave their homes and move to the south or to Egypt."  She added: “We are steadfast on our land, in our homes, and in our cities... and there will be no displacement or deportation.”

It also urged the Palestinians "not to respond to audio recordings that the occupation randomly distributes to mobile numbers."

She pointed out that "the occupation focuses on psychological warfare to strike the home front and displace citizens by publishing sponsored advertisements that include recordings or pictures demanding that citizens leave their homes and displace them, and others to strike morale, and we stress that they will not be responded to."
