The factory was located in a purification plant near the town of Kharab Al-Shahm in the western countryside of Daraa on the Jordanian-Syrian border, according to Khaberni.

The Syrian Free Houran Gathering confirmed the reports and stated that the site was being used as a temporary storage site and a starting point for smuggling operations.
