AMMAN - The death toll from the double attack that targeted the Hamid Karzai Airport in the Afghan capital, Kabul, yesterday, Thursday, has risen to 90, according the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

A source at the Afghan Ministry of Health said in a statement to CNN today, Friday, that the death toll from the attack "has risen to 90, including men, women and children." The official added, "At least 150 others were injured in the explosions."

According to the US Army Central Command, the death toll for US military personnel has risen to 13 dead and 18 wounded.

Reuters quoted a Taliban official as saying on Friday morning that at least 28 Taliban members were among the dead in the two bombings outside Kabul airport.

The terrorist organization ISIS has reportedly claimed responsibility for the attack, according to the Amaq agency affiliated with it, which published a statement on the messaging platform Telegram.
