Syrian President Ahmed Al-Shar’ will make a working visit to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, during which he is scheduled to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and participate in the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference.

According to the Syrian Media Directorate, Al-Shar’ will discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries, particularly in investment and economic collaboration, as well as regional and international developments of mutual interest.
Al-Shar’ is also set to deliver a speech at the FII conference in Riyadh and meet with leading global investment companies and economic institutions.
He will be accompanied by a high-level Syrian delegation, including ministers, senior officials, and national experts, marking Syria’s official entry into the regional economic renaissance. The delegation, traveling to Saudi Arabia on Monday, will hold meetings with major global investors, leading companies, and financial institutions to explore investment opportunities in infrastructure, housing, energy, health, technology, and sustainable industries.
The ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative runs for four days, featuring leaders, heads of state, top investors, and policymakers under the theme “Key to Prosperity”, with more than 8,000 participants and 650 prominent speakers across 250 dialogue sessions, aiming to leverage technological and economic potentials for a prosperous and sustainable future.
