The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirmed on Sunday that all visa holders, regardless of type, may perform Umrah during their stay in the Kingdom.

In a statement issued Sunday evening, the ministry said that allowing holders of various visa types to perform Umrah comes as part of its efforts to facilitate procedures for the Guests of Allah and to expand the circle of beneficiaries of the services provided within the Hajj and Umrah system, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The ministry clarified that these visas include personal and family visit visas, electronic tourist visas, transit visas, work visas, and other types. It emphasized that this step reflects the Kingdom’s continued approach to easing the arrival of Muslims from across the world to perform rituals with ease and peace of mind.
It also added that the ministry has recently launched the Nusuk Umrah platform for those wishing to perform Umrah directly, enabling users to log in, choose a suitable package, and obtain an electronic Umrah permit with ease. The integrated digital experience allows beneficiaries to book services and select timings flexibly.
The ministry concluded that these facilitations reflect the Saudi government’s commitment to enabling Muslims to visit the Two Holy Mosques and perform their rituals in a safe spiritual atmosphere, while providing the best services to enrich the pilgrims’ experience and ease their faith journey.
