The official spokesperson for the Palestinian Presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, said on Sunday that the continuation of the occupation's escalatory policies and its backing of settler terrorism will keep the entire region on the brink of a volcano and at the mercy of the wind, warning of the dangerous repercussions of these policies on regional security and stability.

Abu Rudeineh emphasized that the Palestinian cause cannot be marginalized or bypassed, stressing that failing to reach a just solution means the continuation of wars and crises.
He pointed out that the ongoing recognition of Palestinian rights by countries around the world, their reaffirmed commitment to international legitimacy, and the ongoing shifts in the global landscape represent an opportunity that the international community and the US administration must seize to resolve all of the region's problems and achieve security and stability for all.
Abu Rudeineh added that the Palestinian cause is a just and sacred one for the world, deeply rooted in history, and that ignoring the rights of the Palestinian people and attempts to impose de facto policies will not bring security to anyone, nor will it grant any legitimacy to the occupation and its settlement expansion.
The official spokesperson concluded by stressing that resolving the Palestinian cause in accordance with Arab and international legitimacy resolutions is the foundation for achieving balance and stability on both regional and international levels, and is the only way to halt an endless wave of wars.
