Five people were martyred and three others injured in an Israeli airstrike carried out Thursday morning on the town of Al-Abbasiya in Tyre, southern Lebanon.
Seven members of the same family, including three children, were also martyred in a dawn strike targeting the Jnah area at the southern entrance of Beirut.
A Lebanese security source reported that Israeli warplanes launched a dawn raid on the Shiyah area in Beirut’s southern suburbs, while also carrying out a series of airstrikes on towns in southern Lebanon alongside artillery shelling.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health had stated in a previous report that Israeli airstrikes on Wednesday resulted in a second, non-final toll of 182 martyrs and 890 injuries.
