Google Replaces the Traditional Way of Displaying Emails with a New Feature
Google has unveiled a new AI-powered inbox feature within the Gmail app, designed to allow users to browse older emails more smoothly instead of the traditional display method. The new feature leverages artificial intelligence to deliver personalized tasks and summaries of topics users may want to follow.اضافة اعلان

The feature represents a major shift in how Gmail is used, saving users time and effort—especially those dealing with a large volume of emails to sort through. According to the new technology, the AI-powered inbox can suggest tasks such as rescheduling a dentist appointment, replying to a coach, or paying a sports tournament fee, while also summarizing important topics.

Summarizing Important Emails in Gmail

According to The Verge, Google is initially rolling out the AI-powered inbox to trusted testers in the United States using web browsers. It will first be available to personal Gmail accounts, but will not currently be supported for Workspace accounts.

Blake Barnes, Vice President of Product at Gmail, said there is no limit to the number of tasks Gmail may suggest. He explained that while the AI-powered inbox attempts to prioritize what is important to users based on signals such as who they communicate with via email, the large number of suggested tasks could still result in a crowded inbox—albeit with a new design.

The AI-powered inbox summary feature is currently being tested, and if it proves even partially successful in delivering timely recommendations and summarizing important emails, it could become highly useful.

Will the New Feature Be Paid?

It is worth noting that all regular Gmail users already receive personalized reply suggestions, smart email summaries, and Google’s “Help Me Write” tool—features that Google previously offered only through paid plans—at no additional cost.

As for subscribers to the Google One AI Pro and Ultra plans, they will receive additional features such as advanced proofreading and smart summaries in search results, both available via web browsers, indicating that these features will be offered as part of paid subscriptions.
