Al-Jazeera forward Ahmad Al-Harahsheh has received the Star of Round 1 award for the 2026-2027 Pro League season, following the fan and expert poll run by Al-Ghad on its social media platforms.

Sports Department director Khaled Al-Khatatbeh presented the award to the player, who put in a standout performance in his team's opening match.
Al-Harahsheh had a standout Round 1, scoring a hat-trick against three-time defending Pro League champions Al-Hussein Irbid and leading his team to a 5-0 win, before being substituted in the 73rd minute. Al-Harahsheh received 314 votes on Facebook, the third-highest total among the nominees, behind Al-Jazeera teammate and goalkeeper Qais Abbasi and Al-Faisaly's Ihsan Haddad, though the Player of the Round is chosen through a combination of fan voting and votes from a panel of national coaches.
The five local coaches on the voting panel, Osama Qasem, Islam Jalal, Mohammad Al-Ababneh, Mahmoud Shalabiyeh, and Mohammad Al-Maharmeh, all ranked Al-Harahsheh as their top pick for best player of Round 1, securing him the award following both the fan vote and the panel of experts.
After each round, Al-Ghad selects a Team of the Round made up of 11 players, with voting opening the day after the round concludes and running for 24 hours. Alongside Al-Harahsheh, the Round 1 Team of the Round included: Qais Abbasi, Ihsan Haddad, Daniel Afana, Abdul Jalil Mansir, Faisal Abu Shanab, Karam Abu Shaaban, Khaled Issam, Yassin Al-Bakhit, Mohammad Al-Akash, and Suleiman Babayondi.
Al-Harahsheh, 24, is one of Al-Jazeera's standout players, having joined the club from Al-Wehdat just a week before the season began, after previously playing for Manshiyat Bani Hasan and Mgheir Al-Sarhan. He also represented Jordan's Olympic team last year in Asian qualifiers.
Speaking to Al-Ghad after receiving the award, Al-Harahsheh expressed his happiness at winning it, saying it gives him motivation to deliver his best in the coming period, both individually and as part of the team, hoping the squad continues its strong form throughout the rest of the Pro League season to compete for a top finish.
Through its weekly Player of the Round selection, Al-Ghad aims to showcase the Pro League in a positive light both locally and internationally, while motivating players to give their best in competing for individual honors, given the absence of such awards from the football federation itself.
