National table tennis team participates in WTT Sulaymaniyah Championship

AMMAN — The national table tennis team is participating in the World Table Tennis (WTT) Youth Contender Championship in Sulaymaniyah, which will be held in the Iraqi city of Sulaymaniyah starting on Monday and ongoing till March 20. اضافة اعلان

The championship will see the participation of male and female players from the U19, U17, U15, U13, and U11 age groups who will represent various countries including Jordan, Qatar, Lebanon, Sweden, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Palestine, Belgium, Syria, Sri Lanka, Yemen, and Croatia.

The participation of the national team is of great importance given the effort and attention the local table tennis federation dedicates to young players. These efforts include improving the development process on which it relies on their performance at the current stage, according to the federation President Tariq Al-Zoubi.
