Mustafa wins silver medal at Karate 1-Premier League

AMMAN — The national karate player Abdul Rahman Al-Mustafa won the silver medal for the under 67kg competitions in the second round of the Karate 1-Premier League, which concluded in the Portuguese city of Matosinhos, on Sunday. اضافة اعلان

The league saw the participation of 294 male and female fighters representing 53 countries.

Mustafa who won the bronze in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics last year, was unable to beat the French player Stephen Da Costa, the gold medalist in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and current world champion.

Mustafa lost to Da Costa after based on a referee call after the fight ended with 5­­–5 tie.
