Men, women Taekwondo teams leave for Austria, Saudi Arabia championships

AMMAN — The national Taekwondo team for men headed to Austria on Tuesday to participate in the International G1 Tournament.اضافة اعلان

At the tournament, the gold medal winner will receive 10 points, the silver medal winner gets 6 points, and the bronze medal winner 3.25 points.

The team is accompanied by both Coach Mohammad Al-Abbadi and the physical therapist Loaai Al-Madanat, and Players Mahmoud Al-Tarareh for the 58kg category, Zaid Al-Halawani for the 63kg category, Zaid Mustafa for the 68kg category, and Saleh Al-Sharbati for the under 80kg category.

In addition, the women’s Taekwondo team headed to Saudi Arabia to participate in the G4 World Tournament, which will take place from December 25–27.

The team is accompanied by Head Coach Faris Al-Assaf, the administrator Hala Al-Jarf, the physical therapist Saja Aba Zaid, and the players Yara Yassin for the 57kg category, Natalie Al-Hamidi for the 62kg category, Juliana Al-Sadiq for 67kg category, and Rama Abu Al-Rub for the 73kg category.
