Jordan wins award for best Taekwondo federation

AMMAN —The Jordan Taekwondo Federation won the 2022 award for the best Taekwondo federation in the world on Saturday at the closing round of the Riyadh 2022 World Taekwondo Grand Prix Final.اضافة اعلان

Jordan Taekwondo Federation Vice President Hazim Al-Naimat accepted the award from Choue Chung-won, president of World Taekwondo.

The international federation praised Jordan’s teams for their achievements this year. The Kingdom’s latest victory was winning two gold medals, clinched successfully by Juliana Al-Sadiq and Zaid Mustafa in the final round of the 10-star Grand Prix Championship. Jordan was the only country to win two golds in this round.

World Taekwondo also praised the Jordanian federation’s support for the Humanitarian Taekwondo Foundation project, which enables Syrian refugees to train in the martial art at the Azraq refugee camp.
