A long-term U.S. study involving 131,821 participants over 43 years found that moderate consumption of caffeinated coffee (2–3 cups daily) or tea (1–2 cups daily) is linked to a lower risk of dementia.

Cognitive benefits: Regular intake was associated with slower cognitive decline and better preservation of memory and thinking abilities.
Risk reduction: Among the participants, 11,033 developed dementia. Those consuming the highest amounts of coffee had an 18% lower risk compared to low or non-consumers.
The findings, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, support the potential protective role of moderate caffeine consumption for brain health.
