High Demand for the Ajloun Cable Car
Eng. Tariq Al-Mayaitah, Manager of the Ajloun Development Zone, stated that the Ajloun Cable Car received more than 7,000 visitors yesterday and today, Friday. He noted that this serves as a clear indicator of the growing popularity of the province's tourist destinations, especially with the onset of milder weather.
Al-Mayaitah highlighted that the project is seeing remarkable turnout from families and visitors across the Kingdom, offering a unique tourism experience with breathtaking panoramic views of the Ajloun forests.
Eco-Tourism and Sustainability
Odai Al-Qudah, Director of the Ajloun Forest Biosphere Reserve, also reported active visitor movement. Tourists engaged in environmental trails and nature-based activities. Al-Qudah emphasized the reserve’s readiness to provide high-quality services, noting that such tourism supports local communities, creates job opportunities, and raises awareness about environmental conservation.
Local Impact and Future Outlook
Local tourism and environmental experts, including Hamza Shwayyat and Wurud Al-Khasawneh, remarked that the vibrant tourism scene reflects the success of efforts to develop the sector and enhance Ajloun’s appeal as a premier eco-tourism destination.
They stressed the importance of continuing to support sustainable projects and improving services to extend visitor stays. This, they noted, would increase economic returns for local communities while ensuring the preservation of the region's natural resources and biodiversity.
