Women and Environmental Leadership

AMMAN — A study titled “Women and Environmental Leadership  Elected Councils in Jerash as a Benchmark” concluded that Jerash governorate’s municipal councils require the inclusion of women in programs related to the environment.اضافة اعلان

The report concluded that there is also a need to raise the level of awareness among council members regarding environmental legislation and laws. 

The director of the Jordanian federal unions forum , Tala Khreis, said that a program to empower women for regional leadership roles is currently being implemented in Jordan enhance women’s political and cultural participation
