AMMAN — Qatar's Minister of Education and Higher Education, Mohammed bin Abdul Wahed Al-Hammadi, said that their ministry recently hired some 530 Jordanian teachers.
Of the new teachers hired to teach in Qatar, he said 416 were locally contracted, while 114 others were recruited in Jordan.
The minister noted that the new Jordanian teachers were contracted in Jordan and teach many educational disciplines, especially English, math, physics, and chemistry.
In a speech delivered at the start of the school year in Qatar on Sunday, Hammadi said blended education has become the "best" option to ensure continued educational processes and ensure quality education while maintaining students' health and safety, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
