The ancient city of Petra hosted an international musical evening on Monday night in front of the iconic Treasury, titled “A Love Story Through Time”. The event featured world-renowned Jordanian soprano Zeina Barhoum, alongside Jordanian and international artists, attracting a large audience. The evening was supported by the Petra Regional Authority, the Jordan Tourism Board, Royal Jordanian Airlines, and several national institutions.اضافة اعلان

French artist Nathaniel Pearce and Jordanian singer Bassem Khoury participated, accompanied by an orchestra, the Armed Forces band, and other musicians. The performance blended opera with Western and Arabic classical music, creating a unique atmosphere that highlighted Petra’s historical and archaeological value, making it a standout cultural event both locally and internationally.

Dr. Fares Al-Breizat, Chairman of the Petra Regional Authority, said that holding the event in front of the Treasury reflects the Authority’s commitment to enhancing the city’s cultural presence and showcasing its renewed human heritage. He noted that the goal is to position Petra as a key venue for international events that promote Jordan’s cultural image and support tourism and the economy, in line with the 2023–2033 Economic Modernization Vision.

Barhoum expressed her delight in performing in Petra, describing the experience as both artistic and spiritual, reflecting the city’s beauty and promoting it on a global scale.
