Labor ministry campaign marks World Day Against Child Labor

AMMAN — Labor Minister Yousef Al-Shamali on Saturday launched “I Want to Learn”, a new campaign marking World Day Against Child Labor (June 12).اضافة اعلان
In a statement, Shamali said Jordan will be joining the rest of the world in highlighting the issue of child labor and finding ways to help them.

He pointed out that the Jordanian Labor Law prohibits minors under 16 years old from working in any capacity, in addition to banning those under 18 from engaging in work that may cause exhaustion or threaten their health.
