Group arrested for brawling in Zarqa

AMMAN –– Security forces on Saturday arrested a group of people who were brawling in a neighborhood of Zarqa city, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. اضافة اعلان

The Public Security Directorate's media spokesman said in a statement that the Zarqa police were tipped off that a fight involving a number of people broke out over previous disputes between them.

One of the individuals complained that he was beaten up. The man appeared in a video saying he was beaten up and assaulted with a sharp object.

The man headed to hospital in a vehicle accompanied by his brother, but they had an accident on the way in which he suffered moderate injuries and was treated in hospital.

The spokesman said police began an investigation and collected medical reports, and the case was referred to the judiciary.
