The European Union Representative in Palestine, Alexandre Stutzmann, announced that the EU has launched a relief program for victims of settler violence. The program aims to provide proactive protection through volunteer groups on the ground and establish an integrated system to enhance their security.

"The European Union views the attacks by settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank as an alarm bell," Stutzmann stated. "Regrettably, we could not prevent these events from occurring, but we can strive to ensure they are not repeated."
Stutzmann noted that the EU is currently considering firm political measures alongside other actions, including the launch of this victim relief program.
These remarks were made during an extensive field tour organized on Wednesday for the diplomatic corps accredited to the State of Palestine. The tour, which included the EU Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process, Christophe Bigot, and several international ambassadors, visited the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, to assess the aftermath of recent settler attacks.
