The scientist Abbas Haddadin discovered a species of long-horned grasshoppers with a beaded shape, scientifically named Conocephalus fuscus, in Jordanian amber dating back 140 million years. These grasshoppers belong to the order Orthoptera and the phylum Arthropoda. Their hind legs are longer than the front ones, and their bodies are long and slender. They live in meadows and serve as food for birds and reptiles.
