He added that efforts are underway to develop services at archaeological and religious sites, improve public facilities, support tourist trails such as Rasoun, Arjan, Ba’un, and Mar Elias, and organize environmental and cultural events throughout the year.
Ibrahim Al-Qudah, a chalet owner in the Ishtifina area, said that today’s mild weather contributed to increased demand for chalets and scenic mountain sites, noting that the area has been busy since early morning, which positively impacted service facilities, restaurants, and cafes.
Fahim Al-Samadi, a tourism resort owner in Rajib, confirmed that tourism activity in the governorate remains stable and continuously active. He noted that visitors prefer quiet natural sites, guesthouses, and eco-camps to spend relaxing times away from city noise.
Al-Samadi called for continued promotion of Ajloun as a destination for eco-tourism, religious tourism, and leisure, due to its unique natural features, including dense forests and historical and religious sites, most notably Ajloun Castle and the Tel Mar Elias site.
