The awards are held annually by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, in partnership with the ASE and the Kingdom of the Netherlands. They recognize private-sector organizations that encourage gender equality, promote women’s participation in the local labor market, and create pathways for their career advancement.

The recognition reflects Jordan Ahli Bank’s sustained and measurable progress in embedding diversity and inclusion within its People & Culture strategy and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework. This progress is evident in initiatives ranging from strengthening women’s representation within the bank to expanding career advancement opportunities and introducing structured programs that support female employees throughout every stage of their professional and personal lives.

“This recognition comes as a testament to our ongoing commitment to fostering a workplace where every employee has a fair opportunity to grow and contribute to our journey,” stated Jordan Ahli Bank CEO/General Manager, Ahmad Abu Eideh. “Diversity and inclusion are among our core strategic priorities – not as an institutional requirement, but because we believe they drive better decisions, stronger teams and lasting performance. We remain dedicated to improving on the practices that support gender equality and professional growth across the bank.”

The award builds on Jordan Ahli Bank’s continued recognition in this field, following its designation as ‘Jordan’s Best Bank for Diversity & Inclusion 2026’ at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence. The recognition was based on its achievements in women’s representation, career progression and economic participation in 2025. Together, these accolades highlight the bank’s continuous leadership in this space and its role in shaping more inclusive employment practices across Jordan’s banking sector.
