AMMAN— The
Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) organized on Sunday a
workshop on e-commerce integration for a number of Jordanian industrial
companies, in cooperation with the German Agency for International Cooperation
(GIZ), according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

In a press statement,
JEDCO indicated that two-day workshop provides training on internationally
common e-commerce business models, in addition to the necessary requirements
for companies to kick off their businesses on the internet.
These e-commerce models
have "flourished" recently and were considered "most
effective" after COVID-19 pandemic, especially in marketing, promotion and
striking trade deals, according to the statement.
The workshop is part of
a program which JEDCO launched to provide support to some 30 Jordanian
industrial and service companies, and to enhance their capabilities and
increase their exports through e-promotion and virtual markets.
