During a dialogue session on the first day of the Arab Youth Innovation and Technology Summit 2025 entitled :" The role of technological progress in supporting the economy and stimulating investment", which was organized by the Knights of change Association in Amman in partnership with the Arab League and with a generous opening from the minister of Government Communications, the official spokesman of the Government, Dr. Mohmmad Almomani .
The Deputy Chairman of Knights of change Association ,CEO of the Jobkins group strategic and economic expert eng. Mohannad Abbas Haddadin, answered the moderator's questions, the first of which is what is the role of technological progress in supporting the economy and is technology ready in the Arab world to support the economy ?
Answer: if the economy is prosperous, the Citizen will live comfortably and this can only be achieved through technological progress, is the technology ready, especially in the countries of the Arab world and the third world?
Haddadin explained that this will only be achieved by taking care of both :
First: education .
1.Education always carries the name of education, the Compass has changed today with the presence of artificial intelligence and various applications through the internet, the student resorts to it using the tablet screen, as the wide space for blackmail, bullying and information theft in solving his homework and other things that require intervention in raising children from a young age with new educational methods that suit technological progress, when a child sits with his family he is open to the outside world, he needs guidance and guidance from the dangers of technology, which may lead to legal violations at advanced stages of his age during his primary and secondary grades and then the university will hold him accountable Legal.
2.Not to resort to indoctrination and reduce the huge amount of momentum of school subjects and focus on the basics, including preserving the values of society, in addition to the basics of various sciences and mathematics; in this context, how to imagine that a first-grader carries a school bag weighing about 10 kg for school subjects focused on memorization by involving parents in school assignments
3.Practical application; a child from the first grade has the skills of accessing applications and online games with different skills that must be developed and graded with him in practical Applied Materials commensurate with age and grade to discover talented and creative children in addition to preparing students at advanced stages to be ready for this technology .
Secondly, the digital physical infrastructure; it is responsible for the frustration of many citizens in using technological applications as a result of the random interruption of various services and not getting their product in the correct form due to the weakness of that infrastructure.
Third: training ;to properly qualify students and graduates for the labor market, there are professions that will disappear in the near future and other new professions will appear in exchange for them; readiness must be in the right form .
After mentioning the three engines that support the role of technology in the economy, Haddadin talked about that technology, which he divided as a result of his experience into two types:
The first type; modern technology enters the economy directly, through technology companies and application platforms ,in the United States, technology contributes to 50% of its economy ,the 5 largest technology companies in the world are American, namely Invedia, Apple, Microsoft, Goole,Amazon if the first company Invedia was taken into account, as its market value has increased over the past two years by more than a trillion dollars to exceed Japan's GDP of 4.2 trillion dollars, and this company specializes in the manufacture of electronic chips, screen processors and electronic games, through which political interventions are carried out between the great countries, the example of this company should be the catalyst for the Arabs; in focusing on technology companies, their applications and communications to support the national economy in Jordan in particular and in the Arab world in general, and this is done only by attracting two examples of Jordanian competencies abroad, the President Trump accompanied on his private plane when visiting Saudi Arabia a Jordanian engineer named Tariq Zahdi to lead a company in artificial intelligence and its applications called Humain in Saudi Arabia ,where the market value is expected to reach 100 billion dollars, and there is a Jordanian engineer working in Germany as a director of the robotics program that uses artificial intelligence in launching spacecraft to Mars in cooperation with NASA to repair spacecraft malfunctions and collect information and various discoveries named Sami Haddadin, focusing on the human element should be one of the priorities as Jordan has those qualified and creative technological progress to create distinguished technological companies, Jordan does not wants to export these talented people and to be proud of their work in the west; rather, they should be proud of their work in Jordan and the Arab world to build it, and let the slogan be "no to exporting competencies, "so how can officials be proud of exporting those competencies?" One person working abroad in a company raises its value to billions of dollars.
The second type :indirect intervention of technology in supporting the economy through the citizen's receipt of computerized service by the government, to facilitate procedures and reduce citizen's expenses, and also reflected on local companies by opening new horizons in terms of digital marketing to show their products to the world in the right way to pour all into the economy.
Haddadin added In this item that technology enters into all the engines of the economy, agricultural in terms of improving the agricultural product and marketing process, and industry also in terms of improving product quality and reducing costs and automation, artificial intelligence and various virtual and three-dimensional technology applications enable the manufacturer to see the product, so technology has made it easier for the industry to reduce costs, productivity and competition with high quality and marketing guarantees to the outside world, and what applies to industry and agriculture applies to the rest of the economic engines of tourism, health and various services, and not forgetting the direct impact of technology on sustainability in terms of employing intelligence the industrial sector is in a smart energy network in terms of using clean energy at the lowest cost from green hydrogen, solar energy and wind.
Haddadin added that there is a problem of congestion on the roads, especially while always going to work in the morning, artificial intelligence has the ability through software and algorithms that are linked to traffic lights, cameras, sensors, global tracking system GPS and data analysis to solve this problem; which is the problem of congestion and traffic jams in Amman and Riyadh, for example, and this will lead to smart cities, to turn Arab cities and Arab capitals into smart cities, you must catch up with the global technology train or the Arabs stay in place.
The second question: How does the technology that supports the engines of the economy affect the facilitation of investment?
Haddadin replied:Any investor, when he comes to Jordan, what does he want? If the technology mentioned earlier is available, the investor will produce a competing product after preparing global markets to market his product in the right way, the investor who wants to build a complex or an architecture has the possibility to access the smallest details in the form of his investment, artificial intelligence and three-dimensional technology enables him to see the smallest details inside his project, without any doubt about the technical procedures of the project or any possible risks incurred Additional unaccounted funds affect the course of the project.
Haddadin added that the presence of a database in Jordan will facilitate the investor's project and help him in choosing.For example, if the investor chooses to build a hospital in Tafilah governorate, he will be able to know the number of hospitals in it, the number of patients and the nature of the specialties he needs to focus on certain specialties, and this leads to investment success and investor satisfaction.
Haddadin concluded his answer to this question about the importance of technology also in reducing the gray economy, which is not included in the GDP for tax evasion ,the computerized tax based on a correct database will be for the benefit of the citizen and for the benefit of the investor alike, justice will be achieved and thus the government will benefit, and the gross product appears in the correct form, as the GDP will reach 70 billion dollars, which is its real value instead of about 48 billion dollars.
As a result of all this, the growth rate will increase over the next three years to reach 5% instead of waiting for 2033, where this year it will record 2.8%, which will lead to an increase in employment and reduce unemployment and poverty.

He answered: There is a message in the form of proposals, so the Arab world should have a technological roadmap for the next decade, because Globalization has ended in the world, political interventions have led to supply chains being disrupted, which in turn affects the industry and the product that is manufactured, German and other companies have been closed in Europe, and globalization has been replaced by what is known as Regionalization, the Arab world is a single bloc, not separated by Therefore, the Arab world should build strategic partnerships, including:
First: For example, if agriculture is taken as an example; by knowing the needs of the Arab countries neighboring Jordan and the Gulf countries of agricultural products, Jordan can direct agriculture to meet those needs if possible through exporting those products to these countries, as well as exchanging knowledge of agricultural pest control through knowledge of the experiences of other Arab countries, and this is measured by establishing a database for other specialties; Jordan, for example, has medical cadres in all specialties the Arab world and each country as needed to meet its need of Specialties that are missing or have a shortage.
Secondly, as a result of the global progress in technology and artificial intelligence, the demand for electronic chips continues in these industries and applications, where it is monopolized globally in favor of three companies, namely TSMC in Taiwan, over which the conflict may ignite a third World War, a company in Europe in the Netherlands called ASML and the third Invedia company in the United States, the question is :why is there no such a comoany in the Arab world ?As all technological industries include these chips, the Arab world becomes a technology exporter instead of an importer .
Third and finally: create the following :
1.A data center and artificial intelligence to be linked to Arab technology companies.
2.Establishing a training center for modern technology and all its applications, the most important of which is artificial intelligence and various software to qualify Arab competencies.
3.To establish a center for entrepreneurship, innovation and excellence to support all Arab ideas, to advance technology and to go with a prosperous future.
