During a field tour in Aqaba, Al-Okaliek emphasized the importance of teamwork among Jordan Customs, various government service departments, and the private sector in Aqaba, with the goal of enhancing operational efficiency and improving facilitation for both the trade and tourism sectors.

Aqaba Development Corporation
Aqaba Container Terminal (ACT)
Representatives from customs clearance companies, shipping agents, and the Arab Bridge Maritime company
Various customs centers and directorates
These meetings focused on workflow reviews, shared concerns, mechanisms to ease procedures, enhancing compliance, and finding solutions to any issues or obstacles affecting customs operations and clearance processes.
