AMMAN — Temperatures on Tuesday are expected to remain around their seasonal averages, with typical summer weather prevailing across most parts of Jordan. Hot conditions are forecast for the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, while moderate northwesterly winds will be active at times, particularly in the Badia.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, forecast high and low temperatures are as follows:

* East Amman: 33°C / 19°C
* West Amman: 31°C / 17°C
* Northern Highlands: 29°C / 16°C
* Sharah Highlands: 29°C / 16°C
* Badia: 38°C / 20°C
* Plains: 33°C / 18°C
* Northern Jordan Valley: 40°C / 23°C
* Southern Jordan Valley: 41°C / 29°C
* Dead Sea: 40°C / 27°C
* Gulf of Aqaba: 41°C / 28°C

On Wednesday, similar weather conditions are expected to continue, with typical summer weather across most regions and hot conditions in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will remain moderate and northwesterly.

On Thursday, temperatures are forecast to rise slightly. The weather will remain seasonably warm over the highlands, while becoming relatively hot to hot across the rest of the Kingdom. Winds will shift between northeasterly and northwesterly at moderate speeds.

A further slight increase in temperatures is expected on Friday, bringing relatively hot weather to most areas and very hot conditions in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Moderate northeasterly to northwesterly winds will continue.
