The number of apartments sold with an area exceeding 150 square meters rose by 12% during the first quarter of this year, reaching 4,875 units compared to 4,366 apartments sold during the same period in 2024, according to the monthly report from the Department of Lands and Survey.

According to data monitored by "Al-Mamlaka," apartment sales activity in the Kingdom increased by 6% during the first quarter of this year. In April alone, apartment sales rose by 28% compared to April 2024, and by 34% compared to the previous month of March.
The total number of apartments sold in the Kingdom during the first quarter reached 10,787 units, with 2,936 apartments sold in April, according to the report.
Sales of apartments smaller than 120 square meters also increased by 1% during the first quarter, reaching 3,140 units compared to 3,099 units sold in the same period of 2024.
Sales of apartments sized between 120 and 150 square meters rose by 2%, reaching 2,772 units compared to 2,715 sold in the first quarter of 2024, according to the report.
Last November 12, the Cabinet issued a decision exempting apartments larger than 150 square meters from 50% of registration fees, in addition to a previous decision exempting apartments under 150 square meters from 100% of registration fees.
In April alone, sales of apartments larger than 150 square meters increased by 30%, totaling 1,318 units compared to 1,011 units sold in April 2024.
Sales of apartments under 120 square meters rose by 37% in April, reaching 888 units compared to 648 units sold in the same month of 2024.
Sales of apartments between 120 and 150 square meters increased by 17% in April, reaching 730 units compared to 625 units sold during the same period in 2024, according to the report.
