Oil Falls More Than 1%

Oil prices dropped more than 1% on Monday as concerns over a potential U.S.-Iran conflict in the Middle East eased following a round of talks between the two countries on Friday.اضافة اعلان

Brent crude futures fell 89 cents (1.31%) to $67.16 per barrel by 23:09 GMT.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude declined 79 cents (1.24%) to $62.76 per barrel.

On Friday, Iran’s top diplomat said that nuclear talks with the United States, mediated by Oman, had “started well” and were set to continue, comments that may help calm fears that a failure to reach an agreement could push the Middle East toward the brink of war.
