Jordan’s air, sea, and land transport sectors witnessed a rise in key indicators and notable improvement in the third quarter of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024.

Air transport performance indicators revealed that the total number of aircraft arriving and departing to and from all airports in the Kingdom reached 22,937 flights in Q3 2025, marking a 2% increase compared to 22,537 flights in Q3 2024.
The total number of passengers arriving and departing through all airports in the Kingdom reached 2,946,999 passengers in Q3 2025, representing a 10% increase compared to 2,687,635 passengers in the same period of 2024.
Data from the maritime transport sector showed that total cargo handling at all port facilities in Aqaba reached 7,433,023 tons in Q3 2025, a 17% increase compared to 6,355,660 tons in Q3 2024.
The total container movement through the Aqaba Container Terminal reached 270,286 containers in Q3 2025, up 22% from 221,675 containers in Q3 2024.
In the land transport sector, the total number of passengers crossing all land border points reached 3,447,692 passengers in Q3 2025, an increase of 21% compared to 2,844,117 passengers in Q3 2024.
Total cargo handling across land borders reached 14,323,533 tons in Q3 2025, marking a 21.7% increase from 11,770,749 tons in Q3 2024.
