The number of users of the CliQ instant payment service rose by more than 28% by the end of last November, reaching 2.09 million users, compared with 1.63 million users during the same period in 2024.
This growth in the number of users was accompanied by a 75% increase in the value of CliQ transactions during the first 11 months of the current year, compared with the same period last year. The total value reached JOD 18.09 billion, up from JOD 10.78 billion during the comparison period.
Moreover, the number of CliQ transactions carried out by users since the beginning of the year until the end of last November more than doubled, reaching 150.25 million transactions, compared with 73.96 million transactions during the same period of 2024.
Money transfer transactions accounted for 76.3% of total transfers conducted through the CliQ service, with a value of JOD 13.81 billion during the period from January through the end of November this year, compared with JOD 8.88 billion over the first 11 months of 2024, representing nearly 82% of total transfers at that time.
Meanwhile, the average value of CliQ transactions in November this year declined by 19% to JOD 106, compared with JOD 131 during the same month in 2024.
