Amman– Global oil prices rose in early trading on Monday, reaching their highest levels since January.
According to Bloomberg News Agency, Brent crude futures rose by $1.92, or 2.49%, to reach $78.93 per barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures also rose by $1.89, or 2.56%, to reach $75.73 per barrel.

Both benchmarks had earlier surged by more than 3% during the session, reaching $81.40 and $78.40 per barrel respectively — the highest levels in five months — before retreating slightly from those gains.
