The selling price of 21-karat gold, the most sought-after grade among consumers in Jordan's local market, rose by 30 piasters on Thursday compared with Wednesday's price, reaching JD 89.8 per gram at jewelry stores.

The buying price of 21-karat gold from consumers stood at JD 85.8 per gram, up 20 piasters from JD 85.6 on Wednesday, according to the pricing issued by the General Syndicate of Owners of Trade and Jewelry Shops.
The selling price of 24-karat gold also increased to JD 102.9 per gram on Thursday, compared with JD 102.6 on Wednesday, a rise of 30 piasters.
Meanwhile, the selling price of 18-karat gold rose to JD 79.6 per gram, compared with JD 79.4 in Wednesday's pricing, an increase of 20 piasters.
