Ownership of Real Estate by Non-Jordanians Drops by 13% During the First Nine Months of 2025

Iraqis Lead Property Purchases in Jordan with 54.5 Million Dinarsاضافة اعلان

During the first nine months of this year, non-Jordanian investors purchased 1,749 real estate properties, marking a 13% decrease compared to the same period last year, when 2,011 properties were sold.

According to a report by the Department of Land and Survey, monitored by Al-Mamlaka TV, these sales included 1,035 apartments valued at 53 million dinars, representing an 11% decline compared to the same period last year, when 1,157 apartments were sold. Additionally, 714 plots of land were sold for a total of 90 million dinars, down 16% compared to 854 plots sold during the same period last year.

The estimated total value of real estate sales to non-Jordanian investors during the first nine months of 2025 amounted to 143.8 million dinars, reflecting an 8% decrease from 157 million dinars recorded during the same period last year.

Top Nationalities Purchasing Real Estate

Iraqi nationals ranked first among non-Jordanian buyers during the first nine months of 2025, with a total of 387 properties, followed by Saudis with 286 properties, Syrians with 169, Americans with 127, and Palestinians with 113.

Ranking by Estimated Value

In terms of total estimated value, Iraqis also topped the list with 54.5 million dinars, accounting for 38% of the total value of non-Jordanian real estate purchases.
They were followed by:

Americans: 14.8 million dinars (10%)

Syrians: 10 million dinars (7%)

Palestinians: 7.7 million dinars (5.4%)

Saudis: 7 million dinars (4.9%)
