Simultaneously, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu headed to the operations room at the Ministry of Defense following an alert to evacuate the vicinity of Sana'a Airport.

Israeli Army Radio stated: "We will target Sana'a Airport for the first time since the war began," while an Israeli official said, "The military strike on Sana'a Airport could come from the sea or the air."

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said on X (formerly Twitter): "We urge you to evacuate the area around the airport – Sana'a International Airport – immediately and to warn anyone near you to leave the area at once."

He added: "Failure to evacuate and distance yourselves from the site puts you in danger," accompanying the post with a photo of Sana'a Airport marked in the warning.
