Media outlets affiliated with the Houthis in Yemen have reported that American warplanes launched a series of new airstrikes today, Monday, targeting the Al-Jawf Governorate in Yemen.

The reports stated that American fighter jets conducted 8 airstrikes on the Al-Hazm district in Al-Jawf Governorate.
Earlier, the American air force carried out two airstrikes on the Barqash area in the Majzar district in Marib, central Yemen, and then renewed its assault on the district with three additional airstrikes, following five earlier strikes.
The reports also mentioned that the American air force targeted the Al-Hazm district in Al-Jawf Governorate, in northern Yemen, with 10 airstrikes and launched two airstrikes on the Ras Issa area in Al Hudaydah Governorate in the west of the country.
On March 15, U.S. President Donald Trump ordered the commencement of a military campaign against the Houthis, pledging to use lethal force and completely eliminate their capabilities. This is part of Washington’s efforts to stop the threats posed by the Houthis to shipping in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, as well as to deter the recurring attacks targeting Israel.
